Course description
No prior qualifications are required. The course is open to all personnel working onshore or offshore who may come into contact with dangerous goods.

There is no official expiry date for this certificate; however, periodic refresher training is recommended based on company policy or operator guidelines.
Who is the Course Aimed At?
This course is designed for all personnel who may encounter dangerous goods during their work, whether offshore or onshore – for example, while storing or loading materials onto offshore helicopters.
Course Goal:
The goal of this course is to increase awareness of the hazards associated with dangerous goods and to teach participants how to handle such substances safely and responsibly, in compliance with relevant legislation.
Training Description:
The course is delivered entirely online and can be completed at the delegate’s own pace. After registration, delegates will receive an email with access to the e-learning platform.
Course Content Includes:
- Laws and regulations concerning dangerous goods
- Classification and types of hazardous substances
- Safe handling practices
- Potential risks (e.g., fire, explosion)
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Packaging and labeling requirements
- Safe storage procedures
Course Completion Confirmation:
Upon completing the course and successfully passing the assessments, delegates will receive their Dangerous Goods Awareness Certificate by email.

Vulcan MedicalOccupational Medicine OfficeOccupational medicine conducted by our Center includes the prevention of occupational diseases for seafarers, wind turbine technicians, and other professions or specializations. The examinations will determine if the delegates have any health contraindications that would prevent them from performing tasks in a specified position.
